100th birthday of the German National Library Leipzig

The German National Library was founded one hundred years ago this year. It has collected everything that has been published in the German language since 1913, from pulp fiction to sheet music.

Bollywood Flash Mob at the Loussac Library

 

Dancers converged on Anchorage's Loussac Library to celebrate the library's 25th anniversary at it's current location. The dance, choreographed by Leslie Kimiko Ward, was inspired by Indian Bollywood movies and aimed to bring the unexpected to the library.
